First and foremost, I would like to commend the entire film crew for their outstanding work in creating this movie. The new cast has set a new benchmark in the Tamil film industry.

The film is a captivating work of historical fiction that transports us back to the 7th century, bringing to life the fierce battle between the Great Pandiyas and their arch-rivals, the Cheras and Cholas. A smaller clan – Eyinars support Cheras and Cholas. Ultimately, Pandiya King Ranadheeran emerges victorious, capturing the Chera king and driving the rest of his enemies away. The Cholas take refuge in the forests, while the Eyinars find solace in a distant desert land.

Kothi, the leader of the Eyinar clan, refuses to accept defeat and makes it his mission to reclaim their lost glory. He seeks the help of the hidden Cholas to strike the Pandiya king again, and the film takes us on a thrilling journey to find out whether they can defeat the mighty Pandiya king.

The film explores the recurring theme of hunger for power and authority, and how each king has their unique approach to achieving it. Some use the name of the people, while others use land or virtue. The film delves into these themes in great detail, and it’s a pleasure to watch it all unfold.

One aspect that stands out in this film is the attention to detail. The crew has left no stone unturned in their quest to bring authenticity to the screen. The dialogues, costumes, art direction, weapons used, and stunt sequences are all meticulously crafted, and it shows. The Sangam period dialect spoken by the characters adds another layer of authenticity and makes the viewing experience all the more immersive.

Despite the film’s tight budget, its grandeur is nothing short of awe-inspiring. The impactful storyline is complemented by stunning visuals that are sure to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

In conclusion, this film is a must-watch for anyone who appreciates quality cinema. It’s an excellent example of how historical fiction can be brought to life with the right mix of talent and dedication. Hats off to the entire crew for creating such a masterpiece.
