Gulmohar is a well crafted family drama with the right mix of intense emotions. The story revolves around  the final four days as a family packs their belongings and sets to leave their long lived family home. And before they leave, they decide to celebrate the holy festival one last time at that house.
As the packing goes on amid the chaos, personal and interpersonal issues relating to their past, present, and future crop up. How the family handled the testing times is the story,brilliant performances by Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore ,Amol Palekar, Simran in particular, and all the other characters.

Excellent film to watch.
